Eliza Bryant Village is pleased to present our 2018 Annual Report
Change can be difficult, exciting, or even transformative. At Eliza Bryant Village, we are changing to help us continue to fulfill our mission “to provide quality services, outreach programs and a dignified, compassionate and secure living environment for seniors.” Our enclosed 2018 Annual Report, Change Makers, speaks to our transformative journey throughout 2018.
More than 123 years ago, our visionary leader, Eliza Simmons Bryant, was a remarkable Change Maker as she created a safe space for African-American seniors to age with dignity and compassion. We continue to mirror her tenacity as we enhance programs, expand services and deepen our roots in our community to better serve the needs of older adults. The creation of our innovative Elder Justice Center once again changes the future for vulnerable, older adults in need of a safe and supportive environment.
Opening in the fall of 2019, the Elder Justice Center at Eliza Bryant Village will provide a temporary respite for the growing population of older adults who are experiencing some form of trauma, violence, abuse, and/or criminal victimization. To ensure clients will return to a safe environment, we will work with our community partners to connect clients and their families to legal, financial and social service supports.
We encourage you to please join us as we celebrate the opening of our Elder Justice Center at a grand fundraising gala. The Eliza Bryant Village Crystal Ball Gala will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the St. Clair Ballroom, (100 St Clair Ave NE 4th floor, Cleveland, OH 44114). Please save the date.
