Critical to our continued dedication and success is three passionate and hard-working Auxiliary Groups made up of about 100 wonderfully talented and compassionate women. Not only have they helped raise funds to support programs and services, the auxiliary members provide leadership and give countless hours of service to enhance the quality of life for our seniors.
Auxiliary I was initially founded as the Lady Board of Managers at the time that the home was opened. In 1948, the name was officially changed to Auxiliary I. They sponsored an Annual Ingathering and Annual High Tea.
Auxiliary II, formally known as the Junior Board, was organized in 1939. Auxiliary II’s signature event is the Annual Holiday Mart that attracts more than 500 guests. They also sponsor other exciting fundraisers throughout the year.
Auxiliary III became the youngest volunteer group when it was established in 1969. Auxiliary III’s signature event is the Annual Spring Luncheon and Music Fest held in May. Every year, they also host a Holiday Party for residents with a special visit from Santa and his elves.
