Dear Friends,
Eliza Bryant Village encourages you to complete your 2020 Census. For nearly 125 years, Eliza Bryant Village has been an advocate for the underserved. Our visionary founder, Eliza Simmons Bryant, created a safe space for older African-Americans to age with dignity and quality health care at a time when others wouldn’t. Today, we continue to share her message that you matter; your vote counts; and your voice is one to be heard. Help yourself and our community become stronger and healthier by completing your 2020 Census today. You count!
The Village provides healthcare, programs, and services for aging adults and their families regardless of their ability to pay. Many of our skilled nursing residents rely on Medicaid, the largest source of health insurance for low-income and disabled persons. Funding for Medicaid and reimbursement level calculations include the state’s population and income levels, which are derived from the U.S. Census. You count!
We are here for you and for your aging loved one, and our staff is dedicated to keeping residents and our team healthy and safe. We received substantial compliance and complimentary reviews of our team in our June 2020 Infection Control Survey from the Ohio Department of Health.
Eliza Bryant Village continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of older adults and to overcome obstacles with innovative solutions. In response to the growing number of older adults experiencing abuse, we launched an Elder Justice Center that provides safe, temporary housing and connection to support services for victims of abuse, violence, trauma, or criminal victimization.
