The Elder Justice Center at Eliza Bryant Village was awarded the NAMI Greater Cleveland’s Valeria A. Harper Cultural Competence in Mental Health Award
On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater Cleveland Chapter hosted its Annual Meeting and Award Ceremony and awarded the Valeria A. Harper Cultural Competence in Mental Health Award to the Elder Justice Center at Eliza Bryant Village.
We are honored to receive this award which recognizes a peer, family member, professional, or organization that has demonstrated excellence in working with minority populations in the mental health field.
NAMI Greater Cleveland celebrated The Elder Justice Center for our work providing temporary, free, safe housing and connection to wrap-around services to seniors experiencing, or at-risk of experiencing abuse, violence, trauma, or criminal victimization.
