Skoda Minotti’s Day of Service at Eliza Bryant Village!
On Thursday, August 11th, Eliza Bryant Village partnered with Skoda Minotti for their Day of Service! 20 volunteers came out for two hours to assist with cleaning our Nursing Home unit, hosting a game of bingo, and replacing nail polish for our residents.
Our seniors were pleased to have the employees of Skoda Minotti come out to The Village! Many exclaimed their appreciation!
We thank Skoda Minotti for selecting Eliza Bryant Village as a site for their Day of Service! We look forward to partnering with them again in the future!
KeyBank’s Day of Service at Eliza Bryant Village!
On Friday, August 12th, Eliza Bryant Village was delighted to host 60 KeyBank volunteers who graciously gave their time and energy to help us beautify The Village and host our 2016 Senior Olympic Games! Our Chief Operating Officer, Deborah Enty, welcomed the volunteers and thanked them for their service.
Volunteers helped to wipe down windows, doors, and rooms in all of our housing units; treat our housing tenants to a game of bingo; disinfect areas in our Adult Day area; and set up and host the Olympic Games which our seniors thoroughly enjoyed! One of our seniors asked a volunteer to come back to Eliza Bryant Village! The volunteer couldn’t deny that she had a great time and would be more than willing to come back and spend some time with our seniors.
We are extremely thankful for KeyBank’s help, and truly thank them for taking time to get to know our seniors through conversations and putting smiles on their faces!
